PRODUCT

HDT – Heat Deflection Test Apparatus is used to determine the deflection temperature limit for specific application and comparing the heat softening characteristics of thermoplastic material at persistent load in oil up to 300º C with specified rate of rise.

APPLICATION

Plastic is a heat sensitive material and it has a lot of bearing on its thermal environment for its performance. Though their behavior in thermal conditions is very complex, some simple yield tests are applied to predict its behavior and performance in given conditions. This is one of the yield point which is very commonly employed with such demanding application.

USP

The HEXA PLAST – HDT apparatus is controlled with precisely designed micro controller, which controls the temperature with specified rate of rise. Deflection or insertion of pin is measured with the help of dial gauge.
This Apparatus is supported by versatile window based software to control and visualize the process of test on computer screen. Different tests can be recorded and compared on the screen.
